MACKENZIE HARRIS – CONTENT STRATEGIST & INTERVIEW MANAGER

Mackenzie spent the most of her four years at Cabrini College working to better the world we live in and plans to continue this post graduation. As a digital communication and social media major with a minor in social justice she was able to combine her two passions together: storytelling and social justice. SAMANTHA JACOBS – WEBSITE DEVELOPER

Samantha graduated from Cabrini College with a major in Digital Communication and Social Media and a minor in Spanish. For this site, she acted as the website developer, uploading all of the content and designing the site and overseeing the completion of multimedia pieces. LILLIAN HURLEY – MARKETING MANAGER

Lillian graduated from Cabrini College with a degree in communication and a minor in marketing. As the marketing manager, she planned and executed the market research and promotional efforts for the site. CHRISTOPHER RYAN – VIDEO PRODUCTION MANAGER

Christopher graduated as a communication major and exercise science minor from Cabrini College. As the video manager for the site, he played a large role in the collection and editing of content. ABBIE KEEFE – ART DIRECTOR

Abbie graduated with her bachelor’s in Communication at Cabrini College. Although she transferred in the fall of her junior year, she enjoyed many of the leadership opportunities the department offered. With an immense passion for the environment and social justice issues, Abbie looks forward to staying true to Cabrini’s mission throughout the rest of her future careers, including her passion on the inequalities of education. ERICA ABBOTT – SENIOR COPY EDITOR

Erica graduated from Cabrini College with a degree in communication and a minor in Spanish. As part of this site, she served as Senior Copy Editor, which entailed looking through everyone’s written media for the site, making corrections and fact-checking, as well as helping people with whatever questions they had regarding their articles. During her time at Cabrini, she was highly involved in the communication department and internships, where she developed skills in multimedia storytelling, writing, AP Style, copy editing, photography and more. Jessica graduated from Cabrini College with a bachelor’s in communication and a minor in Spanish. During her time at Cabrini, Jessica learned journalism, AP style, InDesign, filming, video editing, broadcasting, photography, multimedia storytelling, social media and public relations. STAN THOMPSON III – COPYRIGHT VERIFIER

Stanley Thompson III graduated from Cabrini College in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Religion along with a minor in Studio Arts, showing he was always interested in more than one subject at a time. While in the communication department, Stanley showed that his best skills were audio editing, narration, photography, and video editing with Adobe Premiere. ARIEL MELENDEZ – PHOTO AQUISITION COORDINATOR

Ariel graduated from Cabrini College with a degree in Communication. Her role for the site was the Photo Acquisition Coordinator. This involved capturing pictures that would be used on the site and in any videos that were made. During her time at Cabrini, Ariel learned how to tell a story through the multimedia storytelling process, which combined photos and videos to tell a specific person’s story or a social justice issue.
